Hey everybody!
Lindsey Roylance to you

This week had some great moments. Met a guy named Hanz at the booth who asked us for a copy of the book of Mormon. Get this. He has read it 6 times. 6 times!!! Just wait, he is atheist! So I definitely realize the importance of faith and prayer mingled with reading scriptures. The book of Mormon is such a tool in my life that has strengthened my testimony of Jesus Christ and I know it changes lives. It has changed mine! So with Hanz, he likes the story and he studies theology. Out of all he has studied, he says Mormonism is the most logical and has best standards and what not. That was quite the experience.
We had zone conference on Thursday. Focused on the Book of Mormon and how it strengthens conversion. How reading daily and implementing the teachings changes heart and character. President Bednar once said, "Testimony is what you know to be true. Conversion is being true to what you know." So true and the Book of Mormon is the tool of conversion. This conference someone said, "The capacity to endure is directly proportionate to the strength of your testimony and depth of your conversion." I just love continually learning of the Book of Mormon teachings and the trick is to help investigators see that. Love this gospel!
We received two media referrals this week. Pretty amazing. We aren't the greatest at working at getting referrrals ourselves so thankfully Mormon.org is supplying (hint: we need to get on it!)
The talk I listened to, yes listen is key, is "the First Great commandment" by Holland. So good and inspiring.
Love ya'll! Keep warm and have a Happy Thanksgiving!

Hey er' body
Lindsey Roylance to you

Happy Two Months! This week was a great week. Started off slow but definitely picked up! We met some Jehovah's witnesses. I so wanted to engage in a conversation with them but we were rushed so we only had time for pleasantries.

I learned various things this week. One is that polish ppl have a lot of kids. Stevens point has many polish and we know a guy, our friend Albert who is 1/17 kids!! Oh man. Also I learned that slough (referrring to skipping school) is a Utah word. Definitely confused the Smith family.

This week we did a few hours tracting. Placed 11 Book of Mormons and were blessed with two new investigators, Sarah and Ericka, and a few more potentials. We also met with Investigator Joyce twice. She is a 7th day adventist who believes Sabbath is on Saturday. She loves the bible oh so much, and she has come to love the book of Mormon too in reading everyday! We tackled the Sabbath Day topic and were bold in telling her that if the book of mormon and joseph smith are true (which she believes) then everything else is true as well. She accepted the date of December 28th to be baptized :) She is anxious to keep learning and tackling all the lessons. Hopefully this anxiousness becomes that of her baptismal date!

Recently I read a great talk shared from dear Megan. This talk is amazing and applies to all of us. Good read. "Lose not therefore your confidence" by Holland. Very promising!
Well, have a great week! Love ya'll!

Hey all!
Lindsey Roylance to you

This week was fun and crazy and we met cool people. First we had a first scary dog experience. Like, we were in the middle of nowhere trying to find a less active. We turn down this road to a barn and field and house. all the sudden these two dogs come running out to us barking. There was no way we were getting out of the car. Luckily it was wrong house but to get out of there we had to get past the dogs and they wouldn't move out of the way!!! So mean! They also attacked the car a bit. Got muddy prints on my side. So close to dying there.

We did a lot of tracting this week. We met some awesome people. met Bill. This man wasn't too interested but when given a book of mormon can't read cuz of bad eye sight and has no internet. Ummm... but he was nice and gave us two huge potatoes. Like bigger than our faces! We of course used these and made a yummy roast on sunday. Yum. We also met this great girl Ranae. She has lost her mom, grandma, and uncle in the past 4 months. She was so sweet and invited us in and we pretty much taught the restoration. We also ran into her again and she said she's been reading the book of mormon 10 minutes a day just like we asked. Oh man cant' wait for our appt. Sadly it's next thursday.

We also do a booth each week at the college. Met some cool people. Tianna was so cute. She had so many questions for us. She also professed that college doesn't mean much she just wants to share the gospel and love Jesus! Can't wait til she discovers this amazing gospel. She also asked us to pray for her to have the spirit and to share the gospel more. She is golden!

Well we got our first snow that stuck today. Worst its been is 27 degrees walking a few miles. eh. Gotta love it!

Hey everybody!
Lindsey Roylance

This week was great. I am 1 transfer down! We had two second lessons with Glen and Joyce. Love em both. Both talkers so teaching gets interesting and quite the challenge.
Also taught Marissa Restoration, and she is so amazing. She is a 19 year old mother and has been through so much. We are helping her to see that her Father in Heaven loves her and the Gospel can bless her life so much. I invited her to be baptized if she came to know our message and the Book of Mormon was true, she accepted! She is so sweet and has the cutest daughter Molly.

So We had a Miracle, well maybe two. We were at the booth and a lady comes up to us. Wants to know how the Book of Mormon fits in with the Bible and really interested in learning. She took like 2 dvds and a pamphlet. Sadly she doesn't live in our district so we gave her to the Elders in Wisonsin Rapids. They contacted her and told us that "she is an angel sent from Zeus" So I guess she is golden. Also, we were at the library and a man stopped us. His name is Brad. He told us he prayed that we would walk out those doors so that he could talk to us. He is struggling with alcoholism and he just hoped that we (our message) could help him. Oh could it! So we meet with him friday :)

So we had a ward function "Church around the world" tried Spring rolls=nasty. Flan=not great. But the lady from mexico said she saw hundreds of baptisms! Can you imagine! oh man, for one month would i love to be there but i know i am needed in Wisconsin and I wouldn't trade it for anything!

Well love ya'll!
