Happy New Year!
Lindsey Roylance to you

Well, this Christmas week has been wonderful! Such a blessed time. Christmas day we had a breakfast appt and a dinner appt. Skyping my family was amazing to see them and the little chillins! After dinner Brother and Sister Carroll gave us our presents and stockings. Inside them was silly string and of course we just had to have a silly string war. Christmas night we visited an investigator who we have had a hard time seeing and her sister was there. Barb told us of her reading and she believes it's true and we got to refer her sister to the missionaries where she is from. All in a Christmas day.

Right on time for the end of the year, our mission reached the 300 baptisms for the year 2013. Perfect timing and perfect number. I love how with faith and dilligence that the Lord makes things possible.

Bryan our investigator accepted a baptismal date this week. He enjoyed volleyball Saturday and then came to sacrament on Sunday. The branch loves him and he is doing great.

This weekend, about 85% of our appts cancelled. Must be trying to teach us something, but with extra time we met some pretty great people! Gotta love the work and all the blessings that come with it!
Have a Happy New Year Everybody!

p.s. The picture is of our candy shelf after 2/3 of it was already demolished.

Merry Christmas
Love Sister Lindsey Roylance

Merry Christmas!
Lindsey Roylance to you

Merry Christmas everyone! So this week I got a new companion Sister Pearson. She is from Cedar City and we went to college together we found out. She is great and hardworking and I'm excited to work with her.
We were dropped by inv Rose and Beth because they love their church. I wish people didn't love their churches so much!... jk. But they said they will still read the Book of Mormon so we look forward to reading with them!

We have a new investigator Bryan that was so nice to feed us shrimp and little sandwich crackers and hot chocolate at our lesson. He also came to church for the Christmas Program. It was a really special Program and me and Sister Pearson were of course in the choir! Tons of music and the Spirit.
We also met with a less active mom and 2 kids without a car and got them a ride for church as well. Didn't know that would be such a task but we arranged three rides for people just this week. Exhausting!
Last night we went Christmas carrroling to investigators and less actives. Great time and we received a dinner appt out of it. That makes 6 in a week starting yesterday. This time of the year is definitely a blessing!
Hope ya'll have a very Merry Christmas! Remember to put Christ in Christmas this year :)

On the 9th day of Christmas...
Lindsey Roylance to you

Hello everybody. Good news. I am staying in Stevens Point for Christmas!!! I have also decided to swear off Chocolate come January 1st until my birthday March 24th.
Met a girl this week at the college booth and she came up to us interested in the book of mormon because of the musical. Not sure if that is a good thing or not. Hmmm....
We have a chinese recent convet Tang. There is a language barrier and he doesn't understand everything so he requested lessons from missionaries once a week. Cool thing is, he was going to bring his friend Chris who he brought to church. Chris couldn't come so his friend Davis came instead. I have not met a member who has a backup friend to invite. Pretty awesome!
We tracted on Saturday while it was snowing light and fluffy. Really quite beautiful actually with the sparkly snow. Then the women couldn't talk because they were busy baking. All I want is for someone to invite us in for hot chocolate. oh well, Christmas is coming!
Merry Christmas everyone! Have a great week and enjoy time with family :)

Brrrr...........
Lindsey Roylance to you

Hey everyone! This week has been pretty awesome as a missionary! But first and foremost, for those that it concerns. Transfers are on the 18th and there is a small chance i could be getting transfered so please hold off packages until then or send them to the mission office (Not broad street. New one is Edgerton somethin) Look it up :)
Well, this week we had a lesson with Rose. William, her friend and recent convert of 1 month, came and the Spirit was so strong in that lesson! William was on fire, with analogies to help her understand the Plan of Salvation better and then she came to the Christmas Party and church.
We also had a lesson with Barb. we tracted into her last week and for our first lesson she had already read to 1 ne 5, just couldn't put it down she said! She also like Joseph Smith has wondered about "one Lord, one faith, one baptism" and a few other things. She is so prepared by the Lord, excited to continue teaching her and helping her in her spiritual progression.
What a blessing it is to be a Missionary and a wonderful opportunity the Lord gives us.
We had a Branch Christmas Party on Friday, never been so excited for a church party! Overall, there were 12 nonmembers there and many less actives and everybody had a great time. Awesome.
Weather update: Saturday we moved a family in the branch in -3 degrees (although some said it was -8). Weird when insides of nose freeze! We've been blessed with snow as well, but it's so cold it hasn't melted into ice so all is well :)
Love ya'll

Hello!
Lindsey Roylance to you

Hey everybody. This week was great. First i want to mention (priorities) somethin you should all listen to is "Missionary Next door" by dianna hassler. Amazing and hilarious and inspiring. Hope you can find it on the internet somewhere.

I had exchanges in West Bend this week. Interesting experience to see these sisters in the area that they opened up a couple weeks ago. They had zero investigators to start, a couple formers, and like no potentials. They have to start from scratch. I count my blessings!

We had an amazing member referral from Recent Convert of one month William. he is already a missionary. He referred us to his coworker Rose who we met with twice this week, and she is awesome! Statistics on future baptisms: tracting is 1/1000. member referral where lessons take place in member's home 660/1000! This is what we want!

We had Sister Martin from California's first snow driving experience. Only wiggled a little :) Thanksgiving at the Munk's house was amazing! They stole ideas from the Missionary Next Door and invited a less active family to dinner. He asked us to prepare our experience in deciding to go on a mission. We ate til it hurt but it was probably the most spiritual dinner appt I've been to on my mission. Amazing!

Hope you all have great Holidays and to remember the Savior Jesus Christ in our festivities. Love you all!
