Re: Life among the Hmong
Lindsey Roylance to you
This week I had exchanges with my grandma (trainers trainer) Sister Bennett in Wausau! It was amazing. For service I taught a Hmong lady english using numbers, letters, colors, and months. Awesome! We also got to teach a Jewish man Sabbath Day Holy. Great time! Interesting what I learned there! Then for dinner we went to a Hmong family's home and I got a Hmong name!!! Bucketlist item fulfilled.
This week we had a lot of focus on Less actives. We have been meeting with a few and are gaining a great relationship with them. We have established a reading pattern with them to get them started into the Book of Mormon to help them understand and apply the scriptures.
The Elder's in our branch had a baptism. Awesome to see Ryan get baptized after a year and a half of investigating. His wife and in-laws are members in our branch and Saturday answered prayers I'm sure! Amazing, next step is the temple where they can be an eternal family!

We had a genius plan yesterday. For third hour we went into Primary where they talked on Testimonies. We of course had them write/draw their testimonies on a paper that we could include with the Book of Mormons we give out. What is more precious than a testimony of a child? Nothing! They are truly adorable.

I studied fasting a lot. Didn't realize the power of fasting! I feel i have not used that resource of help from the Lord like I should've all my life. Great talk is called Fasting with Power. Ya'll should read it.
